Development of polyclonal antibodies

We have experience in developing antisera, and purifying polyclonal antibodies for many different antigens. Usually we use rabbits, but goats are also available.

If antipeptide antibodies are needed we prepare immunoconjugates ourselves. To develop antipeptide polyclonal antibodies in rabbits we need at least 2-3 mg of peptide to prepare two different conjugates (for the immunization and for screening).

If affinity purified antibodies are needed, an additional 5-10 mg of peptide should be supplied for matrix preparation.

We immunize usually 2 rabbits 5 times, and the minimal order for antiserum is 100 ml. It takes 3-4 months time to get antibodies with good affinity.

Antibodies could be purified from antisera by an affinity chromatography purification procedure.

We offer also different testing (ELISA, Western blotting, immunofluorescence, etc) , and also labeling (conjugation with HRP, alkaline phosphatase, biotin, FITC, TRITC, etc.) procedures for antibodies.
